Pirates of the Carribean III very disappointing

by jamminglady @ 27. May 2007 - 23:06:34

I just watched this movie. It's so disappointing. Maybe I was looking for more thrill and excitement. The movie was abit long winded.

Part II of the movie was good. It introduced the octopus-looking captain and his crew. The plot was more of thrill and straight to the point. It ended half way so that we can hope for a part III. Now that it's finally out and it's soooooooooooo loooooooooong. Haha. Well, it chooses to disappoint me with all the crappy jokes and nothing new in the story. Some parts simply looked like it was meant for kids to watch.

Just a personal view. :P

Fed up of standing in the crowded train!

by jamminglady @ 27. May 2007 - 22:54:22

Nowadays it seems like Singapore's population is growing like crazy. Everywhere you go, you'll notice lots of people. Every public transport is packed!

Usually at 10.30pm in the past, you will see some empty seats. However, I noticed that in this recent 2 years, the train is always crowded. I cannot expect to find seats. This is crazy. The train used to be my prefered transport. It is convenient, air-conditioned and I get to seat. Now...... I hate it.

Everyday it's so crowded. More people are buying cars and the train commuters are still so high. I also noticed that the train is full of people who are non-Singaporeans. Looks like Singapore is exploding. I want a car!!!

I need some sleeping pills!

by jamminglady @ 17. May 2007 - 02:09:31

Bad bad bad... cannot get to sleep again. I wonder if doctors are willing to prescribe me some light sleeping pills. As long as they can induce me to sleep and the rest I'll work it on, I just need the catalyst for sleep. :P

I hope that it can make me go to sleep if I take it at 10pm everyday. I can also stop taking it after the habit kicks in if that is possible. :lalala: And then I'll automatically wake up at 7am to prepare for work.

IS THAT POSSIBLE?

Vegetable Week Survived and Over Soon!

by jamminglady @ 10. May 2007 - 23:34:08

This week I went on partial juicing. For those who don't know partial juicing, it simply means surviving on juice and vegetables only. Supplemented with my health food, it's a total healthy diet. Well, this week, I went grocery shopping for just $35 of veggie food.

It's Thursday and I think Saturday will be my last day of vegetable diet. It seems like home cooked vegetable meal can be filling as well. It may not have all the nutrition but it's filling!! Especially when you have soup with it. Some potatoes will just make you full too. It just takes some effort for dish washing.. :|

Well, I have been satisfied with my vegetable diet so far. I hope to try better vegetable dishes with less hassle like making egg vegetable salad that has the egg mashes like Botak Jone's. Better level of scrambled egg that can be matched to Hilton's. Personal soup recipe and not soup from campbell's can. Haha.

Oh yeah, I bought a cheap $28 blender, the most basic version of Philips Twist. Time to try new salsa recipe!!

Tequila Corralejo

by jamminglady @ 05. May 2007 - 17:01:35

I went Cafe Iguana again!

This time, I had the chance to drink their Tequila shots. It came in 3 different bottles, red, white and blue. They have some fancy names for them which I don't what it was. Well, the following was the one I tried. Tastes goooooood.. smooth to the throat :DD. Great to drink just by itself.

The following is a picture of the bottle. Seemed like it's an award winning bottle.
