Just a thought. Why does men and women think so differently? Instead of being subjective, I came to realise the reason behind it.

Part of the reason could be due to the different mental protocols that man and women have. Of course, it does not cover all man and women, just for the general.

Let's take a look at men first. Men think like this. You give them a problem, they give you ONE solution.

So the formula goes like this:
1 Problem --> 1 Solution --> MUST RESOLVE

That's it. Now that's why some women always say men are woodblocks when it comes to romance or love. Whilst most things require a straight solution, some things require the best optimization or flexibility.

Now how about women? Women takes a problem, analyses it, breaks down into small small problems. After that, she finds the various solution that resolves all the small small issues.

So the formula goes like this:
1 Problem --> sub-problem A, sub-problem B, sub-problem C..... Z
sub-problem A --> sub-solution A
sub-problem B --> sub-solution B
sub-problem C --> sub-solution C
....
sub-problem Z --> sub-solution Z

Then If-Else clause comes to complicate things.
If A, Else If B.. , Else If B1... Else ESCAPE route...

Then after that, they come up with a so-called finer solution that compromises for everything. It may not be the best, but it solves the problem.

Then men says women are stupid, they only complicate things. However, it means they always have a backup-decision in the subconscious that allows them to escape from the disaster/problem even if it's not resolved.

Now turn this problem into a new event that women wish to have, call it a feature. So now.. many sub-features and sub-solutions?? Then men turn to say women think too much! That's why men always find women unpredictable because women have too many routes in her mental protocol to choose from to make the decision.

Now you wonder how I can come up with such formulas... I'm a programmer plus I am a woman!!!

After having the dumplings, I visited Botak Jones again. It's Sunday. I tried to go on a Friday and there was heavy rain. By the time, I took the menu, sat down and reached the stall to order at 10.15pm, they tell me it's closed for the day! 10pm it closes. Gosh, they really stick to their policy. I think their cash register machine gets locked up when the clock reaches 10pm. Well, as such, I had to visit it again on Sunday.

Now, for those who didn't read my blog about Botak Jones before, you can go to BotakJones.com. The Clementi branch just opened recently in September 2006, I think I will try it next time as well since it's near where I live. I had never been disappointed with the Ang Mo Kio branch EXCEPT for their waiting time and early closing hours. Again, it's about 1hr 15minutes estimated waiting time. In such a coffee shop like this, they even provided the estimated waiting time on the receipt and table number so that you know you HAVE TO wait. Their food is good and so you have to wait. I tried new things this time.

For the starters, I tried their "Stuffed Jalapenos". Their description "“O-O-O-OH These are Hot Lah! You didn’t tell us lah!” OK, I’M TELLING YOU NOW. THESE ARE HOT!!!! Jalapeno peppers are supposed to be the second hottest variety of peppers(chillis) in the world. We take out the seeds (some of the heat), stuff ‘em with Danish mozzarella cheese and bread them with Japanese bread crumbs. Real international. Real Damn Good! Now enjoy."

Well, guess what happened after one mouthful. It's DAMN GOOD! It's not as hot as it mentioned but of course, it's not advisable to anybody who doesn't take chilli at all. The taste of the crispy crust together with the soft skin of the Jalapenos inside combined with the hot melted cheese is simply a taste indescribable. Why don't you try?

Next there is the hot & spicy sausage dog.

The sausage is really good. The juice just oozes out of it when you bite it. Super tasty.

And so I decided to try their lamb chops. One of my favourite tries due to their special taste although many people doesn't like the strong taste of lamb. Here I present the "Rosemary Lamb Chop". It's char-grilled and accented with their "SHITAKE-ONION-PEPPER SAUCE".

I took the "cooked-through" version. They had a well-done version too. I don't know how much is the difference. They really come out as they described "THEY WILL COME OUT TENDER, FATTY, JUICY AND DELICIOUS". It's not lean, has some fats. It's not a lot of meat but still it makes you feel DAMN FULL! Freaking half plate of flavored french fries and thick coleslaw that you almost never find in coffee shops or hawker centers.

Can you imagine all the above? I feel like having it RIGHT NOW.

It was a rainy day. I had decided to come to People's Park Center in Chinatown to buy food. Previously I didn't know about this stall and it happened that I thought of buying "Guo Tie", pan-fried dumpling. So this stall seemed to be quite big and it took up 2 stall spaces. I saw many people queueing up for it, the food must be good.

When I was in front of the stall, I saw a guy filming the dumpling making procedure at the stall. The stall does not hide the chef behind the kitchen. Basically, all the staff are right at the front line making dumplings for you. The stuffings has been made and they needed many people to fold the dumpling on the spot ensuring that the dumpling skin is fresh and the dumpling is neatly folded. With the speed they are doing, the queueing time is not in hours but well.. in about 15-30 minutes.

I didn't have the chance to take down the pictures of the nicely made dumpling but this is the stall.

$6 for about 10-12 dumplings. Great vinegar sauce with slices of ginger for taste. You can just eat this for lunch!

Today I met up with my cousin and walked around Orchard a little in Singapore. I seemed to find that the usual boutiques are not having beautiful clothes anymore. The nicer clothes seemed to be lying in the branded boutiques instead.

Things I see around the shops seemed to be more teens than for any other age groups, of course other than the aunty fashion shops.

Can anybody advise me where to find them?? I want some sophiscated fashion.

In a blink of an eye, 1 year has passed. Many things I have been through and experienced. Many things I've learnt as well.

Last weekend was my grandmother's 1 year death anniversary. In our taoism, there's a ritual or some sort of ceremony for it. As 1 of uncle passed away almost around the same time, it was a ceremony to bring both together to live in the same house in the other world. It was a big paper house though All in all, the ritual cost thousands. Seems like it costs more for your loved one to die than for them to live! Haha.. well, not trying to be disrespectful, just.... an observation.

For some moments, it did remind me of my grandmother again. The days when she was alive, the days when she was shouting at us, the days when she cooked all the delicious food and the days when I brought her around the places and held her hands. Every time when I think of these, it never fails to make me tear a little. I really miss her but still got to let it pass. Grandma, I love you.

Well, next is my nearest family. I think nobody can really be compared to having your family and loved ones with you. They are the ones who accommodated to our bad tempers and moods. They are the ones who will think of you every time. When you are lonely, they are the ones whom you can find them and talk to them.

Then my cousins and good friends, they are the ones who shared happiness and pain with me when we talked. I always appreciate their presence to just talk to me and hear me out, of course it's a vice versa process.

So what did I not achieved?

I've not reached my goal of quitting my job. I need to accelerate this self-sufficient status.

I've not passed my boating license. HaHa. A bit lazy too but I think if I don't pass it this year, I'll forget about it already.

Hello friends!

I'm back from my vacation leave days and now I'm back to work. I haven't been blogging for so long that I'm already not used to writing too much. Haha.

Went to many places, saw many things, met a lot of people and ate a lot as well. My skin color is now just 1 degree darker. My back has got uneven tan now, unfortunately no photos to show. I'm gonna get it evenly tanned in Sentosa soon!

So how did you guys spent Christmas and New Year? I sent quite a few cards and I hope they have all received. By the way, when I was on holiday I striked some numbers on Lottery for $90. Not too bad for me to spend it on Christmas though. Hehe. Now, I've spent my pocket money, gotta find ways to make more.

I'm still not back into the dynamic mode yet. Need some time to get back into the momentum. I shall come back to write more.
