Movie: A Walk to Remember

by jamminglady @ 28. Jul 2006 - 00:45:45

I just watched the movie "A Walk to Remember" on a VCD which my cousins bought. It's an amazing simple story that everybody wished that it truly happened. It goes beyond than just a romantic lovey dovey movie.

Do you believe that true faith and love do exist?

The wonderful best-selling novel: A Walk to Remember

A walk to remember
--------------------------------------------------------------------
Short summary:
Jamie was the last person Landon was likely to fall for. Serious and conservative, she was as far from cool as she could possibly be, and didn’t care. The daughter of the town’s Baptist minister, Jamie was not afraid of letting people know that her faith was the most important part of her life, even if it cost her some friends. Landon hung with the in-crowd -- an aimless, moody, reckless guy who breezed through school on looks and bravado. He had no plans, no future and no faith in himself.

Soon, against his own expectations, Landon finds himself falling in love with this outwardly plain girl who possesses a passion for life he never imagined possible. But it isn’t easy. For reasons of her own, Jamie does everything she can to run away from romance until it becomes impossible to deny.
--------------------------------------------------------------------

He fell in love with this plain Jane who changed his life unknowingly. With the true goodness in his heart, he changed his own life for her. Jamie, down with cancer, with her faith in herself accepted what came for her.

Good things always remain sweet when it's so short and that's why it's so precious when you know that it does not last. When will we start to cherish who we love? Make it the best for him/her? True love and faith prevails no matter what. I thought I understood and never truly understood this... till I met it.

It's gonna be love...
